Ramon Gil is the managing and creative director of Fresh Concentrate, a multicultural graphic design company in Manhattan’s Murray Hill.
Since 1991, Ramon has worked for several advertising firms including Goldberg Fossa Seid, Foote, Cone & Belding, Grey Advertising, N.W. Ayer, Young & Rubicam, Griffin Bacal, Burson Marsteller and The Gate Worldwide. Prior to launching Fresh Concentrate, Ramon was creative director at the Earth Pledge Foundation, a non-profit organization on the cutting edge of environmental technology.
He is an active community organizer and has taught at the Parsons School of Design and FIT. He has been featured in the Artists’ and Graphic Designer’s Market, the Society of Illustrators West Annual, Stephen Romaniello’s The Perfect Digital Portfolio, Crain’s New York Business, PBS’ Asian America, Créme Magazine and Altra Magazine and most recently in Liz Lynch’s Smart Networking. In 2000, Ramon illustrated Party Train, a storybook for children with Autism.
Currently he gives workshops on the topic of marketing at the Workshop in Business Opportunities and the Asian-American Entrepreneurs Network. He is the publisher of Asians in America Magazine and the is on board of directors for the National Minority Business Council.
